Principal's Message
Dear Clinton Family!
Welcome to the 25/26 school year! I sincerely hope that this summer brought your family time to rest and make lasting memories. We are excited to welcome your children back into a vibrant, safe, and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
As your principal, I remain deeply committed to ensuring our school continues to grow as a place of excellence, equity and belonging. Our students will learn and explore while developing social-emotional skills that will foster resilience, perseverance, empathy, and the ability to collaborate and communicate in our learning community and beyond.
This year our theme is “ Unleash GROWTH from the LION Within” and our focus will be on helping all children grow into their full potential and all means ALL.
We have lots to celebrate including continued gains in terms of scores on the state test!!! GO CLINTON LIONS! We made gains in both ELA and Math. Hurray! This year, we are also welcoming a couple of new staff members Ms. Robles, who will be teaching 5th grade and Ms. Hill, our new 8th grade math teacher and Ms. Walker, our Reading Specialist. I am thrilled for the opportunity to start a new year full of promise and excitement, success and celebration!
Attendance will continue to be of utmost importance. We can’t support our students if they are not here! So parents please, let's partner in your child’s education. We believe that when families and schools work together, students can achieve extraordinary things. Your involvement- whether attending school events, talking about learning at home, or encouraging your child each and every day- makes a powerful difference.
We have lots of plans to make this the best year at Clinton yet! We can’t wait to greet our students on the first day of school Thursday, August 14th and see their energy fill our breezeways and classrooms once again. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our school community.
Finally, Follow us on ParentSquare for key updates regarding the start of the new year as well as updates about events at our school throughout the school year.
Wishing you all a wonderful school year!
Susana Miranda,
Principal
